Anonymous asked: I kind of want to go to SVA, but do you just not like cities? Like idk that's scaring me ahha :c
SVA is a great school. I learned so much and I became so confident in my art work while I was going there. And honestly, I love cities - especially Manhattan. But when I went back to school this year in September everything was so different. I hated the city. I’d go home every weekend and when I’d take the train back I would be miserable. I never wanted to go back to New York. I was just really depressed. A part of me wishes that I had never left, but I had to do what was best for me and my mental health - so I left. SVA is honestly a great school and I highly recommend going there, but if you’re unsure of the city than I would look at other schools as well.
I need some new books to read! Message me with suggestions, please please please!
Anonymous asked: why dont you go to SVA anymore?
I was really depressed in the city, so I left. Then I applied to Rutgers (which is close to home) and I got in. So I’ll be attending Mason Gross in the fall.
